Position Overview:

●  The Placement Counselor is a vital link between job seekers and domestic employment opportunities, ensuring a smooth and efficient matching process.
●  This role involves assessing the needs of high-net-worth private clients and domestic staff, providing career counseling, and facilitating placements that benefit all parties involved. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the domestic service industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping individuals find fulfilling employment.

What You’ll Do:

●  Sales Outreach: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and building and maintaining long-term business relationships to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
●  Client Consultative Sales: Conduct detailed sales consultations with private clients to understand their specific domestic staffing needs, including skills required to meet client needs, construct job descriptions, and preferred candidate attributes.
●  Candidate Assessment: Evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and compatibility for domestic roles through interviews for roles such as Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Household Manager, Estate Manager, Private Chef, Private Driver, Private Educator, and Companion Care.
●  Matchmaking: Skillfully match candidates with clients based on requirements, preferences, and the candidate’s skill set, ensuring harmonious employer-employee relationships.
●  Career Counseling: Provide guidance and support to job seekers in the domestic placement industry, assisting with resume preparation, interviewing techniques, and career development strategies.
●  Follow-up: Maintain regular contact with placed candidates and their employers to ensure satisfaction, resolve any issues, and provide ongoing support.
●  Market Awareness: Stay informed about the trends and changes in the domestic placement industry to advise clients and candidates efficiently.

Salary Range: $54,000 to $75,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total employee compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides various benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
